Privacy Policy
What OrderDS collects, why, and the control you keep over it.
1. Who we are
OrderDS (“we”, “us”) provides a dropshipping automation service for eBay and Shopify sellers. This policy describes the personal and store data we process when you visit our website or use the OrderDS application (the “Service”). Questions about this policy can be sent to support@orderds.com.
2. Data we collect
Account data
When you register, we collect your name, email address and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with a third-party account, we receive the basic profile details that provider shares with your permission, such as your name and email address.
Connected store data
When you connect an eBay or Shopify store, the connection is made through that platform’s official secure sign-in. We never see or store your marketplace password. With your authorisation, we store the connection credentials the platform issues to us, together with store data needed to run the Service: listings, products, orders, prices, stock levels and related settings.
Supplier and product data
Products you import, supplier offers you attach, monitoring rules and listing content you create are stored so the Service can operate on them. Supplier account connections you make inside OrderDS are stored in encrypted form where the supplier requires stored credentials.
Buyer data inside orders
Orders synced from your stores include the buyer details the marketplace provides — typically a name, delivery address and order contents — solely so you can fulfil those orders. We do not use buyer data for marketing, and we do not sell it.
Usage and technical data
We record basic technical information when you use the Service: device and browser type, pages visited, actions taken in the app, and error logs. This helps us keep the Service reliable and understand which features are useful.
Payment data
Subscriptions are paid through our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment, plan and billing status, but we do not receive or store your full card number.
3. How we use data
- To provide the Service: syncing stores, importing products, publishing and monitoring listings, and managing orders.
- To communicate with you about your account, trial, billing and important product changes.
- To provide support when you contact us.
- To protect the Service against abuse, fraud and unauthorised access.
- To improve features, using aggregated and anonymised usage patterns.
4. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: essential cookies that keep you signed in and the Service secure, and — on the public website only — privacy-respecting analytics cookies that tell us which pages are visited. Our separate Cookie Policy lists them and explains how to control them.
5. Sharing data
We share data only where the Service requires it:
- Marketplaces you connect — listing, order and tracking information flows back to your eBay or Shopify stores as part of normal operation.
- Service providers — hosting, email delivery and payment processing providers handle data on our behalf under contract, only for the tasks we assign.
- Legal requirements — where we are required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
6. Retention
Account and store data is kept while your account is active. If you cancel, operational data is retained for a limited grace period in case you return, and is then deleted or anonymised. Order records may be kept longer where tax or accounting law requires it. You may request deletion at any time (see section 7).
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, export it, restrict its use, or ask for it to be deleted. Disconnecting a store stops further syncing immediately, and you can revoke a marketplace connection from the marketplace’s own settings at any time. To exercise any right, email support@orderds.com and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Security
Data moves over encrypted connections, passwords are stored hashed, and stored connection credentials are protected with encryption and restricted access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data protected and will notify affected users of a significant breach as required by law.
9. Children
The Service is for business users and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update this page and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
11. Contact
